How to request deletion
You can request deletion of your MyStor account and associated data at any time.
- In the App: open Settings, choose Delete account, review the retention notice, re-authenticate if requested, and type DELETE to confirm.
- Outside the App: email privacy@mystor.me from the email address connected to your account, using the subject MyStor account and data deletion request.
- If you cannot email from the registered address, include your full name and registered email address or phone number. We will ask only for information reasonably needed to verify that the account is yours.
You do not need to reinstall the App to use the email route.
Google and Facebook Login users
If you signed in with Google or Facebook, use the same deletion request process above. We will delete or anonymise the MyStor account data linked to that login, including the Google or Facebook account identifier stored for authentication, unless a specific record must lawfully be retained as explained below. Deleting your MyStor account does not delete your separate Google or Facebook account.
What we delete
After verification and resolution of permitted blockers, we delete or irreversibly anonymise data that is not needed for another lawful purpose. This normally includes account and profile details, social-login links, device tokens, private user content and media, and other personal marketplace data.
Platform Fee, contract-confirmation, fiscal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, provider-verification, safety, and legal-claim records may be retained for the period required or permitted by law. Access is restricted to the retention purpose. Data already shared with another User as part of their transaction record may remain in that User's lawful records. Stripe and other independent controllers handle deletion under their own legal obligations.
Timing
In-app deletion is processed after the App confirms that there are no active jobs, disputes, unsettled payments, or incomplete fiscal records that must first be resolved. Email requests are acknowledged and handled without undue delay, normally within 30 days. We will explain any lawful delay, verification need, blocker, or retained category. Residual encrypted backup copies expire under our backup schedule and are not restored for ordinary use.
